| Projects and Thesis: | SMART PAY PHONE SYSTEM: Smart Pay phone System is a unique product in the regard that it is a single system that provides connectivity to the subscriber through both PSTN and GSM network. to the desired subscriber through the cheapest link either a call to a GSM or PSTN (land line) number. It provides interface to both PSTN as well as GSM network through the interface unit which is a combination of a controller and respective interfacing modules. The Lowest call tariff is computed by the main control unit that provides interface to the call processing unit through RS232 cable as well as the source host. Call processing unit (PC) has the database of the supported links for communication. |
